Mobile Navigation Prototype
Role: UX/UI Design
Designed prototypes for mobile navigation improvement using Slack and InVision.
This project is currently in progress.
What’s the problem?
When we redesigned campbell.edu, we included a mega menu on the desktop version that gave users the ability to access the information they needed more directly. However, the mobile navigation fell flat and currently offers users the top level links only. This makes the mobile site more difficult to navigate and, with the growing number of users on mobile devices (currently an average of 45%), we recognized that this is a problem we need to solve.
This new design more closely matches the desktop version (such as the Quick Links and Login buttons), making the site more intuitive for users across all devices. It also allows for multiple layers of links, allowing the user to get to the information they need more efficiently.
